World Cup Success
Founded in 1900, the Germany national football team has been a dominant force in international football throughout history. With four World Cup titles (1954, 1974, 1990, 2014), they are tied as the second-most successful team in the competition, alongside Italy. The team also holds the record for most appearances in the World Cup semi-finals (13).
European Championship Triumph
In addition to their World Cup success, Germany has also won three European Championships (1972, 1980, 1996). They are the only nation to have won both the World Cup and the European Championship in the same year, achieving this feat in 1972 and 1996.
